1 or 3 day in school, work experience programmes
The MYPATH one and three day work experience programmes give post-16 students a structured, high quality experience that can be delivered entirely in-school. Each session is video led, so teachers facilitate while students take part in professional, workplace-style challenges.
Programmes run in classrooms over one or three days, with an industry volunteer introducing the day and judging student presentations. Additional employer input can also be added to make the experience even more authentic.
5 hour long, video led, enterprise days
Our Enterprise Days are 5-hour, video-led experiences that give post-16 students a practical insight into creativity, entrepreneurship, and the world of work.
Each day comes with a full teacher guide, leader script, and printed student booklets, making it simple to deliver with no preparation required. Professional videos lead the session throughout, and schools receive printable certificates and evaluation forms to complete the day.
Current challenges include: The Tyre Challenge, The Food Challenge, The Festival Challenge, and The Community Project Challenge.
'Guess My Job' sessions
Guess My Job sessions are short, video-based activities lasting 7–14 minutes, ideal for tutor time or other quick sessions with post-16 students.
Each video features a real professional answering questions about their skills, daily tasks, and work environment, without revealing their job title until the end. Students guess after each clue, making it interactive and competitive while introducing a wide range of careers in an engaging way.
Sessions can be run with scrap paper or our printable grids, offering an easy, low-prep way to bring careers into everyday learning.

I’ve always been frustrated by how little variety is shown in post-16 careers education. Too often, the focus is on academic or traditionally ‘high status’ roles that can feel distant or unrealistic for many students. That’s why our platform highlights a much broader mix of careers. In our Guess My Job sessions, for instance, we feature roles like bartender, funeral director, warehouse manager, studio owner, and children’s entertainer, alongside more widely known careers such as lawyer, nurse, doctor, HR partner, and teacher. Every post-16 student deserves to see a career path that feels relevant, achievable, and inspiring, and we’re committed to making that happen.
