Guess MyJob
Overview
Short, interactive clips where a real professional answers quick-fire questions without naming their job until the end; pupils listen for clues about skills, tools and workplaces, discuss in pairs or groups, and make their best guess before the reveal. Ideal for 10–15 minute windows, class slots or assemblies, and a neat stand-in when visitors aren’t available.
Differentiated worksheets are available for EYFS, KS1, LKS2 and UKS2 mean everyone can watch the same clip at the right level.
How To Use This Resource
Play the clip on your screen, give out the worksheets, and pause after each Q&A so pupils can note clues and refine guesses, like Guess Who; reveal and reflect together. Run it as a whole-class puzzle, track weekly correct guesses for a competitive twist, or scale to assembly for a shared challenge. Prep is just printing the sheets; push for evidence-based guesses and end with one quick link to upcoming learning.
