Overview

Two-minute videos that link a National Curriculum science unit to real jobs, so pupils see why today’s science lesson matters beyond the experiment. Each clip names the unit (plants; animals including humans; living things and habitats; materials; forces; light; sound; electricity; Earth and space; working scientifically), shows three authentic roles that use that knowledge, and spotlights the tools, settings and skills involved.

Ideal for all primary classes and especially helpful for science leads building coherent, stereotype-busting links from lessons to the world of work.

Or use in planning meetings to decide where each unit connects to real roles. Keep captions on, name new vocabulary aloud, and rotate examples across the year so pupils meet a broad range of careers while revisiting core ideas.
